                                                                 Exciting Scientific Opportunities

                                                         with interACT Scholarships in Germany!

 

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), together with Universität Karlsruhe (TH), Germany, established at the beginning of 2004 a joint research centre. This international Center for Advanced Communication Technologies, or interACT, supports joint research projects between CMU and Universität Karlsruhe (UKA), initiates distinguished lecture series and finances scholarships at Universität Karlsruhe. Outstanding students who would like to further extend their studies in computer science are invited to apply for the scholarship. Summer interships or master theses can be accepted as scholarships.

 
 

Who can apply?

 

Students of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University and Universität Karlsruhe (TH) 
 

What will be supported?

 

  1. Summer internships, up to 3 months
  2. Master theses, up to 6 months.

 

Requirements:

  1.  Bachelor degree or equivalent training
  2. Supervising professor at CMU and Universität Karlsruhe (advisory service via interACT, see below)

 

You have to submit:

 

  1. Letter describing research interests, idea of research stay, possible goals
  2. Curriculum vitae
  3. University certificates, optional language certificate, awards,…
  4. Recommendation from supervising professor at CMU
